Problem Based Learning

We will be completing our first PBL of the school year! ...but what is a PBL? Here's the definition of a PBL from the Buck Institute, which educates teachers about using PBLs in their classrooms:

In Project Based Learning (PBL), students go through an extended process of inquiry in response to a complex question, problem, or challenge. Rigorous projects help students learn key academic content and practice 21st Century Skills (such as collaboration, communication & critical thinking).
You can learn more at the Buck Institute's homepage.

This project will have numerous components and include homework, class work, minor, and major assessment grades.
